What statistical information do we collect?

We collect aggregate information site-wide, including anonymous site stats. MyJLI.com also logs IP addresses for systems administration purposes. IP addresses are logged to track a user's session. This gives MyJLI.com an understanding of which parts of our site users are visiting, and helps us focus our editorial efforts on those areas, which are of greatest interest to our audiences. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that a user's session may be tracked, but the user will be anonymous. Information regarding visitors to our Web sites is aggregated for the purposes of reporting to advertisers and our non-profit organizations' sponsors. Information about specific visitors is not made available to any of these organizations or individuals.

Protecting your privacy

We will take appropriate steps to protect your privacy.

In the limited circumstances under which we would refer you to a third party for the purposes of delivering specific services to you (e.g., online merchants of Judaica), all personal information submitted to that third-party is subject to that provider's privacy policy. We expect that the third party will adhere to privacy policies similar to our own that provide for keeping such information confidential. We may also provide links to third-party Web sites. Since we do not control those Websites, we encourage you to review the Privacy Policies posted on these third party sites.

How can you update personal information?

You can help maintain the accuracy of your personal information by updating the personal information on your MyJLI.com Personal Desktop.
